Balsam Fir Absolute (Abies balsamea) Balsam fir absolute, also known as Abies balsamea, is extracted from the balsam resin found in the bark of this particular fir tree. This divine product is used in perfumery, cosmetics and aromatherapy. Method : Absolute is obtained from concrete by re-extraction with a solvent using pure alcohol (ethanol) in which the unwanted waxes are poorly dissolved. Obiconové absoluto is reprocessed with alcohol. However, sometimes small amounts of waxes, resins remain. Absolut can also undergo molecular distillation, which will remove the last non-volatile particles. Aroma: Balsam Fir Absolute has a distinctive, fresh, balsamic aroma that is described as sweet, woody and balsamic. Its aroma is said to be soothing and relaxing. Appearance : Pale yellow liquid form. Application of Balsam Fir Absolue.
