Ian Knapper Ltd specialise in designing and manufacturing stone spiral staircases, cantilevered staircases and curved staircases, which we supply to private residences and other luxury premises such as hotels and spas. Bespoke staircase design is our specialty and we take care of every stage of the process, from the initial stone staircase design consultations, through to providing technical drawings and specifications, to the manufacture and installation of bespoke stone staircases. Ian Knapper's work can be found in homes as well as commercial premises all over the UK, and he first gained his experience in stonemasonry through his work with The National Trust & English Heritage. While this work was interesting and the experience valuable, Ian Knapper feels he has much more freedom of creativity since specialising in stone interior design.

Surefast Engineering also offer forging and third party witnessing by Lloyds, DNV, and TUV.
