Whatever standard is required BS, DIN, ISO, and ANSI or your own special requirements by means of drawings or samples of fasteners, we undertake the manufacture of prototype and pre-production components working to short lead times if required. We are DNV registered and are also ISO 9001: 2008 approved. Surefast Engineering offer in house broaching (1mm to 60mm) and grinding, and can source spark erosion, zinc plating, CAD plating, galvanizing, Molykote®, thermoguard coating, nickel plating, silver plating, gold plating and much more. Surefast Engineering also offer forging and third party witnessing by Lloyds, DNV, and TUV.

Ian Knapper Ltd specialise in designing and manufacturing stone spiral staircases, cantilevered staircases and curved staircases, which we supply to private residences and other luxury premises such as hotels and spas. Bespoke staircase design is our specialty and we take care of every stage of the process, from the initial stone staircase design consultations, through to providing technical drawings and specifications, to the manufacture and installation of bespoke stone staircases. We work with a huge range of limestones, marbles and granites, sourcing the very best materials for our stone staircases from all over the world, but the majority of our beautiful stone is sourced in Europe and the UK. Ian Knapper's work can be found in homes as well as commercial premises all over the UK, and he first gained his experience in stonemasonry through his work with The National Trust & English Heritage. While this work was interesting and the experience valuable, Ian Knapper feels he has much more freedom of creativity since specialising in stone interior design.
