  1. DLR ELASTOMER ENGINEERING

    United Kingdom

In 2021, DLR Elastomer Engineering Ltd was formed following the successful acquisition and relocation of Elastomer Engineering Ltd into Dexine Leyland Rubber Technology Ltd (DLRT) at our Leyland Facility. DLRT was formed by the merger of Leyland Rubber Components and Dexine Rubber Technologies, both of which have 100+ years of history as rubber manufacturers. Today, DLR Elastomer is a highly experienced and reliable rubber sheeting, fabrications, moulding and casting company with materials science and manufacturing expertise from many different fields, combining them to produce bespoke elastomeric products. Our range of presses provides flexibility, enabling us to choose the most appropriate method of curing from injection, transfer, compression moulding and rotocuring. Through years of research and development, our processes have streamlined to result in successful and economical rubber manufacturing services for which we are well known and are proud to call ourselves experts in the design, development and manufacture of specialised polymer products. Dexine had a long history, dating back to 1895, which included being a key supplier to the War Office. Leyland Rubber Components was a consolidation of several North-West-based rubber manufacturing businesses such as The Leyland & Birmingham Rubber Co Ltd. Established in 1966, thermosetting elastomer manufacturer Elastomer Engineering was a UK-based rubber moulding company specialising in rubber-to-substrate bonding.

  2. LEGACY MOTOR YACHTS

    United Kingdom

Our boatbuilding business is unexpectedly up for sale, due to the ill health of the owner. The assets of the business include a virtually new (1 set of mouldings pulled from them) full production set of boat moulding tools for a 43 foot aft deck luxury cabin cruiser, (cost over £200, 000 to produce) plus a slightly older set of tools for a larger 50 foot AD cruiser, and a 34 foot model. Both odel retain a current 'look'. There is a virtually new chop gun with spares, plus a forklift truck, plus mould tools for a 6m RHIB and a 9.5M RHIB. There are various smaller project tools including jetski hulls/tools. The business has two boats in build which will be completed via the current owner and sold (although offers would be considered seperately - they are a 43ft AD model and a 9.5M RHIB) What you are buying for the above price would be the assets, the part built boats would be by separate negotiation. There is a website (needing update) include free, UK bank account available, and limited company if required for a nominal charge to be transferred. These assets are personally owned by the current business owner and not subject to VAT, so the price quoted is the final price.
