Our metalising & spray painting factory was founded in the early 1990s, in Chester – almost 30 years of experience! Well equipped with a range of automated machinery & tool room where new tooling is worked on & repaired. Vacuum metallising, or PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition), is the process of physically plating a metal material onto a plastic part in a vacuum chamber. The evaporation of the metal occurs by metal wire being in contact with a heat source (electrically charged tungsten filament) in a closed chamber under high vacuum. The lack of pressure lowers the boiling point of the metal which causes the liquid metal to change to a gaseous phase. The metal vapour encounters the oxygen in the air forming a stable oxide layer on the surface of the components. This gives the component an environmentally friendly, decorative metallic coating (check out our Gallery to see finished products). Metallised plastic components can be recycled and is a great alternative to traditional metal shrouds or over-shelled options which can’t be easily separated for recycling. A portable magical place where many moments and mischiefs are captured in the form of photos and videos. It’s now popping up at weddings, birthday parties, corporate and charity events around Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Tameside and Bury. A Photo Booth Bring any event to life be it a serious or fun moment they do say a picture speaks a thousand words. The booth will be equipped with a camera, a PC and 3 photo printers and to top it off, a professional photographer. As you get an actual photographer to hold the camera rather than a machine, photos can be taken at any height/angle. We can also do ‘action shots’ including mid air jump shots. We do have a range of props including hats, wigs, glasses, guitars and even a minion available for you to enhance your pictures. A Video Booth The booth will be equipped with at least 2 cameras, 2 microphones and a lighting setup. The microphones give good quality audio even in noisy environments and also offers stereo separation on the final video. We use lighting to get the best video quality. We do ask that we are placed away from any extreme noise like the dj/dancefloor as they generally drown out just about everything. We do have a range of props available if you would like to look a little different for your video.
