...Working with sloe berries from day one, we were eager to create a beer that reflects our region. Since our beers are generally light, we also wanted to offer a spicier, more winter-oriented beer. Our IXO with Patxaran is made using macerated sloes, resulting in a beautiful copper hue. With its sweet, fruity, and spicy flavors, it is a complex beer with a nice bitterness. The taste of sloe is very subtle. This is a tasting beer with a strong character that will be perfect in winter and during the festive season.
