    CARNEIRO WINES is a family winery in the Vinho Verde region, in Basto, an ancestral land with vineyards and a long tradition in winegrowing, were we have deep family roots. We are a family but we are also farmers, motivated to inspire all that want to know us and our wines, created with grapes grown with all dedication and love in our vineyards. To make good wine, you only need good grapes.And we have the best: Atei was a land of cattle, corn and good wine. And this empirical wisdom, gained over time, is not lost. It is only perfected, with new techniques, equipment and a lot of motivation from this family and the team that has accompanied them since the beginning.Thus, and with the introduction of new white grape varieties, along with the strengthening of the traditional varieties, cared for in detail by all, allows us to create wines intensely fresh but very different from each other: Alvarinho is considered by many the noblest Portuguese white grape variety; Azal is one of the rarest white grape varieties in Portugal, and which finds in Basto its perfect Terroir, Arinto which has been cultivated in our region for decades as a natural blend for Azal; and Loureiro with its intense floral characteristics make each of the wines a perfect bouquet.

  2. HERDADE DO CARVALHAL -SOCIEDADE VITIVINICOLA DE PORTALEGRE UNIPESSOAL LDA.

    Founded in 1999, covering 52 hectares and located in the Portalegre county, HERDADE DO CARVALHAL produces unique Alentejo wines, like Lysias wine. The steep slopes, the estate's altitude, the granitic soil and north-facing vineyards are what give the wines their unique characteristic. Red varieties cover 100% of the planted area, with a high proportion of Trincadeira, Aragonez and Alicante Bouschet grape varieties.

Its main brand is PAPO SECO, made using the latest technologies to guarantee a consistent quality wine. P&R also produces a typical green wine from Loureiro grapes.
