In 1989 Riad BASMAJI (RB) "who hailed from Aleppo", finished his post-graduate studies and was awarded his doctorate in Earth Sciences Engineering from the Paris Observatory. He submitted his knowledge to serve several French firms. He discovered the virtues of Aleppo soap by pure coincidence.In 1993 while staying in Cannes, RB had a fungal attack between his thighs. This cutaneous mycosis problem came and went on and off for 4 years. In 1997, his sister came to visit him in France from Aleppo in Syria. She gave her brother a gift: it was Aleppo soap. At the time, this soap was unheard of in France and Europe. RB used the Aleppo soap on his body. After 3 months, he made a happy discovery: the fungal problem had been eradicated. This personal story prompted him to conduct an in-depth study of this miraculous soap and ensure that everybody could take advantage of its virtues. Great love and passion were aroused for Aleppo soap. In 2001 in conjunction with two friends, he set up a firm to distribute Aleppo soap in France. The haphazard dosing of laurel berry oil by most of the master soap makers of Aleppo, persuaded him to open his first soap works in the Aleppo region (Kafar Naha) in 2003 with the aim of mastering the manufacture of his Aleppo soap from start to finish.

ROTA is the brand of RAN OTO YEDEK PARCA LTD. STI. It is a quite well known brand all over the world especially in European market. With our recent studies, we succeeded to collaborate with most of major European and American distributors. And our aim is to be one of the biggest manufacturers of the world. Briefly, Rota has been serving for Automotive Industry since its foundation in 1950, in Bursa-TURKEY and has been manufacturing steering and suspension parts for heavy duty and light trucks, buses, agricultural tractors, construction machines, passenger cars and special vehicles. Currently, the production accommodates over 5000 types of steering and suspension parts. The production processes is performed according to ISO/TS 16949: 2002 and ISO 9001: 2008 standards. Rota currently supplies 20% of its production to OEM-OES and the rest 80% to aftermarket customers. 85% of the production is exported mainly to Europe and North America.
