Our Story Established in January 2008 we invested in 3 Star CNC Sliding head machines. Little did we know that the financial crisis was just around the corner. We fell on some very hard times over the next few years and we had to do everything we could to survive, but survive we did. The work started to come back and we have grown year on year ever since. So much so that in 2012 we moved into bigger premises, over double the size of our previous factory. We have been steadily adding new Star sliding head machines and in 2013 we expanded our capabilities by purchasing our first fixed head machine, a CMZ TA20-YS. This allowed us to offer turned/milled parts up to 180mm diameter to our customers. As a result we were able to attract new customers as well as winning new work from existing customers. Our evolution didn't stop there, in 2015 we added another string to our bow with the purchase of a 3-axis CNC mill. Late in 2016 we purchased a Mitutoyo quick vision machine with touch probe, we then built an inspection room to accommodate it and in early 2017 we commissioned our dedicated inspection department. In January 2019 our most recent purchase, a Romi C420 lathe, means that we can now offer sample and small batch runs as well as prototypes and secondary operations on already machined parts. We are continually evolving and always striving to improve in every way possible. Engineering is our passion!

Seadub is a team of precision engineers who design and manufacture parts for the marine industry. Our specialist machinery and equipment enables short set up times meaning we produce one-offs or small batches as efficiently as large runs. Seadub will carry out work at short notice when required. We are experienced in a wide range of materials, including metals such as nitronic, duplex and titanium. Seadub will manufacture to your design and offer advice for manufacturing techniques as required. We will produce designs to your project brief and can model in 3D before manufacture. Our typical customers include Yacht Owners, Managers, Engineers and Captains, Project Managers and Rigging companies. Seadub provides manufacturing services for Superyachts and Racing Yachts. We are Precision Engineers that understand the Marine Industry. We have a well equipped workshop including CNC machining capabilities and a design office with 3D modelling software. Seadub undertakes standard machining runs but specialises in one-off and small batch work. When short lead times are required we will do our best to accommodate them.
