Sinus GmbH was founded in 2002 in Mönsheim, Swabia. In January 2012, Mr Bassem Bouhlel purchased Sinus GmbH. Since then, Mr Bouhlel has been the Managing Director of Sinus GmbH. In 2012, immediately after the business handover of Sinus GmbH, the company headquarters moved from Mönsheim to Kerpen. At the end of 2014, the company headquarters was relocated again – from Kerpen to Hamburg. That's when a storage area was also added to the office spaces, so that commissioning of orders could take place from a single source. Due to the growing goods turnover, the company headquarters was relocated in 2021 to the strategically optimised site in Bargteheide, where the storage area was expanded by more than 2000 m². We are thus able to provide our range in large volumes for our customers. Thanks to decades of experience in the area of filter technology, we are able to realise and supervise large-scale projects. In-house storage logistics allows us to respond flexibly and efficiently to customer requests. Our Shipping department is happy to undertake transport of their goods. We are motivated to process all requests and matters within 24 hours, and be by the customer's side all over the world as a partner in issues of filtration, end oilers, separators, motors and accessories. Our filter technology has been developed to optimise machine running times. We are specialised in ultrafine high-end filters for technical oils. The high-performance filters have also been used in the US space agency for 40 years. Apart from this specific application, which requires top performance in filter technology, the ultrafine filter systems are used for oil maintenance within the maintenance strategy. According to the current state of science, they achieve a maximum filter performance of less than 1 micron (1 micron = 1000 mm) and remove water at the same time. In accordance with daily practice requirements, mobile and integrable units for the ultrafine filter systems were designed.

We produce respiratory protection at the Niedenstein site. The OP mask has been checked in a German laboratory according to EN 14683 Type II. Specially approved by the German Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices. Our face mask passed the test according to the EN 14683: 2019-10 Type II standard on 19th June 2020 in a German laboratory. Basic information: BFE (bacterial filtration efficiency) = 99.97%, limit value 98%, pressure difference (breathing resistance) = average of 29 Pa/cm², limit value 40 Pa/cm². Microbiological purity = average of 8.8 CFU/g, limit value 30 CFU/g. Dimensions 17.5 cm x 9.5 cm. For our face masks, we therefore rely on a combination of different micro non-woven filter materials, which clean the air in a filter cascade and consequently allow a wide range of uses. The mask is made of three layers. The middle layer is made out of ultra-fine melt-blown material (virus and bacteria filter). We use a product from a prominent German manufacturer here.
