RM-12 radiometer: inexpensive measurement of irradiance and illuminance

Our radiometric sensors accurately measure the UV irradiance or illuminance with the RM-12 or RMD radiometer and the UV-MAT dose control. The built-in diffusers ensure the cosine correction that is required for non-vertical irradiation. The sensors are calibrated with traceability to PTB (Physikalisch Technische Bundesanstalt, the German national test authority); after being calibrated, they are supplied with a factory calibration certificate. Excellent long-term stability is achieved through the use of appropriate materials. Of course, a repair and spare parts service is available for many years. The integrated electronics produce a signal voltage that is transmitted to the radiometer. Various sensors can be used with a radiometer by means of internal electronics.

The compact spectroradiometer SR900 is a high-resolution measurement system for quick and precise measurements in the UV range, the visible spectral range and the IR. The spectroradiometer consists of an array spectrometer without any moving parts and a silicon detector with 2048 pixels. The spectral resolution is 0.4 nm. The SR900 is combined with a SMA-905 quartz light light guide and our radiometric sensor heads for measuring the irradiance and illuminance.Traceable to the PTB, the SR900 is factory-calibrated. A DAkkS test in our accredited laboratory is optionally available. The SR900 thus enables exact spectroradiometric measurements for the assessment of irradiances and illuminances, biological effectiveness and color measurements. Due to the nearly scatter-free construction, a high sensitivity in the UV range is reached. Control and data evaluation is carried out by the spectral software SRpro. With trigger input and output, the SR900 is also suitable for automated measurements.

The mains-driven panel meter RM-32 provides a continuous and precise measurement of irradiance with preamplified UV sensors. The integrated electronics produce a signal voltage that is transmitted to the radiometer, so that inferences are minimized. Different UV and visible spectral ranges, measuring ranges, and output signals can be selected to match the measurement task. The current irradiance is shown on a 3.5-digit digital display. The lamp state with respect to two threshold values is indicated by LEDs. Two relay contacts can be used for switching warning and failure signals. With its optional USB, RS232 or RS485 interface the RM-32 can be used to monitor ultraviolet (UV) irradiance. tinyTracker dosimeters are autonomous instruments for irradiance and dose measurement in UV belt systems. Due to the particularly flat design of the tinyTracker, this can be performed by irradiation of UV conveyor dryers and other industrial equipment. The recording of values automatically starts when exceeding an adjustable minimum irradiance. The integrated radiometric sensors can be configured for different UV and visible spectral ranges. The integrated diffuser serves for cosine correction that is necessary in non-perpendicular irradiation. The sensors are calibrated to PTB. The data recording is done on a removable SD card, data transfer - via USB. The power is supplied by a Li-Ion battery that provides a recording time of up to three hours. The Li-Ion battery can be charged directly via the USB interface. An additional power supply unit is included. The analysis and data export are done conveniently using a PC.
