The door holding magnets are mainly used as holding devices on fire protection doors. They hold them in place when open. Controlled by a fire alarm or smoke protection control panel, they release the closures by interrupting the power supply in the event of a fire hazard. 10 mm width, bistable latching solenoid valve or bistable 3/2-way solenoid valve which require only a short electrical power pulse to change the state. On request other sealing materials like EPDM or FKM are possible.

These valves can be supplied in a wide variety of standard versions, e.g.: in three different base shapes (standard, flange and screw-in base), with connection for plug-in socket prefabricated or with flying leads, as 2/2 way NC or 3/2 way NO/NC, also available as low watt version and with nominal orifice of 0.5, 1 or 1.5 mm.
