BRASSERIE DE BRUNEHAUT SA

In 1890, the Allard family founded the Brasserie de Brunehaut in Guignies, then called Brasserie St Joseph. It became known in the region for brewing beers like "La Druide" and "Brunehaut 8°. In 1991, the company experienced a new surge with the move to modern buildings, while maintaining its artisanal character and the quality of its products, which are regarded by connoisseurs as "grands crus". The alliance of Tradition and Modernity! These are the guiding principles of the company, a true credo of the managers of the Brasserie de Brunehaut. Tradition, because the artisanal brewery retains its entirely natural method of producing high-fermentation beers that are re-fermented in bottles and kegs. The result: a selection of about ten diverse abbey or organic beers, all precious and original. To also ensure a connection to the local area, the barley used for brewing is grown on our own farm in Gaurain. Modernity, because the modern and efficient working tools allow for strict adherence to hygiene standards and consistent quality and taste in production. Modernity is also reflected in the approach to the market: many Brunehaut beers have been awarded in international competitions and are now present in 25 different countries.
