AB IM- UND EXPORT A. BERINGER & CO. GMBH

Our trading company was founded in 1991 by Mr. Werner Beringer under the name WB Im- und Export W. Beringer & Co. GmbH in Görmin/Böken, near the historic university town of Greifswald. From the very beginning, the goal was to organize raw materials from around the world for the industry in the core areas of dietary supplements/food, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals as specialists in import and export. Over the years, this has led to extensive trading relationships with merchants and producers, especially in Asia, the USA, and South America, but also with specialists in Europe, Africa, and New Zealand. At the beginning of 2019, the management of the company was passed on within the family to the son, Alexander Beringer. As part of the generational change, a renaming to AB Im- und Export A. Beringer & Co. GmbH was carried out, which took effect in January 2020. The company AB Im- und Export sees itself as a wholesaler for the corresponding industrial sectors but also as a trader and contact for the steadily growing number of small businesses, medium-sized enterprises, and self-employed individuals who market their products on various trading platforms on the internet or locally. At the same time, we also have ourselves certified annually according to the quality guidelines of the IFS.
