METRINCO moisture meter is designed for measuring wood moisture content in a non-destructive way. METRINCO M110W features: Moisture meter’s operation is based on the dielcometer method of measurement. The device can measure moisture content of wood products in the range from 0 to 40% with very high accuracy. For convenience purposes, wood types are divided into 5 groups depending on wood density and displayed in the selection menu in Ukrainian, which makes using this device much simpler. It is equipped with an impact (hammer) type sensor with 45 mm long insulated needles (length of the penetrating part: 30 mm, diameter of the penetrating part: 3.5 mm). Model 140W differs from the similar model M141W in the lack of an infrared pyrometric sensor, which is used for non-contact measurement of wood temperature and allows for automatic temperature compensation during measurement. Instead, the M140W model requires manual adjustment of the wood temperature.
