Medium to a strong and vigorous tree, with a semi-erect growing habit. Flowering is mid-late to late, in April-May. POLLINATORS: Self-fertile, Abbe Fetel, Conference. FRUIT APPEARANCE: It has a characteristic pear shape. The skin color is pale green during the harvest, which changes to a lemon-yellow as the fruit matures. It also has visible, brown lenticels on the surface. The flesh of Williams pear is yellow to white, sweet, juicy, with an accentuated musky aroma. FRUIT SIZE: Medium to large. The tree of Granny Smith variety has a medium to strong vigour. Flowering comes mid to late, around 2-3 days after Golden Delicious. Granny Smith is a good pollinator and has very reliable and good yields. POLLINATORS: Partially self-fertile, and best pollinators are: Idared, Braeburn, Arlet, Fuji, Gala, Golden Delicious, Jonathan, Red Delicious, Idared. FRUIT APPEARANCE: Flesh of the Granny Smith is white in color, the texture is crisp and firm, juicy, slightly acidic, and full and sharp flavored in taste. Overall an excellent, unique, and recognizable taste. Skin is green with pronounced white lenticels. Conical-oval shape. FRUIT SIZE: Medium to large. HARVEST: End of September, around 17 days after Golden Delicious. Vigour of Conference is medium to high and has a stronger branching habit. Flowering is mid-late, with an inclination to mid-season flowering varieties. It bears fruit early (in its third year and yields are excellent every year). Works very well with quince as a rootstock. It is a good pollinator for other varieties. POLLINATORS: Self-fertile. FRUIT APPEARANCE: Elegant, long, bottle shape outline. Skin is thin and glossy, sprayed with spots. The light-green base color, with an overlay of yellow-green shades. The flesh is crisp and juicy becomes softer, more mellow with storage. Sweet and mild flavor at all times. FRUIT SIZE: Medium-large to large. HARVEST: Mid-September - early October
