Flow monitoring Flow monitoring is a procedure that demands a reliable and reproducible surveillance of limit values and flow patterns. Flow sensors detect critical deviations of the flow rate of liquid and gaseous media. Typical areas of application are the monitoring of cooling circuits in welding applications for example, protection against dry running of pumps, as well as the flow monitoring in air ducts and air conditioning equipment. Because of the calorimetric mode the media temperature is also monitored. Flow rate measurement In addition to reproducibility, flow-rate measurement demands a defined degree of accuracy. The flow meters continuously and accurately measure a defined volume of a fluid per unit of time and are suitable for applications where qualitatively consistent process results and a steady supply of fluids is essential. We offer flow meters with calorimetric, magnetic-inductive and Vortex measurement principle for various areas of application.

QuellTech Solution For this purpose, QuellTech offers a perfectly tailored seam tracking solution, which is based on a QuellTech 2D-Laserline Sensor of the Q4 family. The method consists in measurement of the real position and width immediately ahead of the welding process. The laser sensor captures the real dimension of the weld bead, and the software used for this process simultaneously sends the nominal position to the robot. The robot performs a correction movement in X or Z position according to this measurement. This way not only the deviation caused by tolerances, but also the warping effect can be compensated – and the weldment takes place exactly at the required position. The QuellTech 2D-Laserline Sensor is specially prepared to the highly disturbing ambient light from the weld process. It can be cooled and protected from weld spatter, so this model proves to be particularly adequate for operation in the harsh environment of the welding process.

Argon welding is the word “Tungsten Inert Gas” that gives the welding method its name. Welding is also called the initials of this word and is referred to as TIG welding. The heat to perform the welding process is generated between the electrodes made of tungsten metal, which has a very high melting point, and the parts to be welded. The welding zone is protected by argon or helium gas sent from a nozzle surrounding the electrode. The electrodes used in the Tig (argon) welding method allow to join the welded material by melting, without melting themselves. When deemed necessary, additional welding rods are delivered to the welding area by the welder or by automatic wire feeding devices, as in oxy gas welding. Argon gas is generally used as a shield in argon welding. Argon gas is a noble gas, so it does not react and provides strong protection. The steel welding process is a key technology for the production of metal structures. We weld stainless steel structural elements, as well as entire structures made of structural steel, stainless steel, aluminum and its alloys. The main welding types used by us are: a) arc welding with a consumable electrode in the shield of inert gasses (MIG welding) and active gasses (MAG welding); b) arc welding with a non-consumable electrode in protective gasses (TIG welding); c) 3D laser welding. The specificity of the welding services and its belonging to special processes mean that it is carried out in our plant only by qualified employees who undergo regular training to improve their qualifications.
