Our precision metal strip products are custom-made in biocompatible alloys for implantable medical devices that improve quality of life for patients around the world. We work in partnership with Hamilton Precision Metals to manufacture innovative metal materials that enable smaller, lighter and higher performing medical implants. Superior Titanium Strip for Implantable Medical Devices We have developed proprietary practices for the successful reduction of Titanium Grade 5 (6Al-4V) and Titanium Grade 23 Alloys (6Al-4V ELI) to thicknesses of 0.0039” (0.10mm). Our process results in a finish much superior to alternative methods of etching or grinding strips to gauge. This surface finish and gauge control translates to improvements in finished product quality as well as process controls during drawing, stamping, etching or laser cutting. These alloys are offered in the fully annealed or the as-rolled tempers.

Stainless steel alloys offer a very cost effective option when it comes to manufacturing precision tubing for a range of industries. These alloys have an excellent combination of corrosion resistance, metallurgical stability and formability, and are easily welded. Its fabrication characteristics, good mechanical properties, corrosion resistance and attractive finished appearance make high quality stainless steel tubing a popular choice in a range of industries. The stainless grades manufactured by Superior Tube include single-phase austenitic and dual-phase duplex grades. Stainless steel is often chosen for projects in oil and gas production, piping systems, medical devices, food and beverage production, structural applications and corrosion-resistant vessels. Silicone Molding Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) and Silicone Transfer Molding (STM) are widely used in the medical device industry for the production of various medical device components such as catheters, tubing, connectors and handles or grips. The process of LSR molding involves injecting liquid silicone rubber into a mold cavity, often over electrical connections or a circuit board. It is then allowed to cure or solidify into the desired shape.
