Ball transfer units available with alternative material upgrade options. Ball transfer skates & accessories Ball transfer skates engage with cantilever supermarket shelving legs allowing entire (laden) aisles with each train section weighing up to 3000kg (6720lbs) to be moved quickly. Once the train of aisles has been moved, they can be securely locked using the parking brake/locking unit.

Omniwheels feature peripheral rollers which provide 360 degree movement & support of irregular shaped items. Ideal for assembly & inspection lines, machine feed & packing areas. Diameter, Construction & Spacing Castor applications – ensure diameter is x3 minimum Ø of any step/obstacle in primary direction of travel. Synchronise rollers to achieve rapid directional change. Omniwheel OW48-1 & OW80-1 are singular but configure & synchronise by locking together in series. Other models pre-synchronised in x2, x3 & x4 construction for modular flexibility & support.

Omnicaster fast-swivel caster range are produced from engineering polymers to provide a robust non-marking caster with offers near instant directional change. Effortlessly convey delicate surfaces with minimal marking / scratches.

Light-duty ball transfer units are assembled from pressed sheet steel components, except for the LP series which are machine turned from an acetal solid bar. All light-duty ball transfer unit designs feature a hemispherical cup for the recirculation of the small supporting balls. This allows a smooth rotation of the protruding, load-bearing ball. All light-duty ball transfer units (except LP) feature a heat-treated support cup which is resistant to wear.

Our Medium Duty ball transfer units are machined from solid steel bar which is heat-treated to provide a hemispherical wear-resistant chamber within which the recirculating balls can support the protruding, load-bearing main ball. This robust, low-noise design is engineered for applications requiring conventional (ball ‘up’) orientation. Additional options for this range include impact-absorbing top cap options, and additional drain channels where required, making these transfer units the air cargo industry standard.

Innovative patented design incorporates a hardened and precise ground internal support component. The heavy duty design allows the internal recirculating balls to form an endless track/race to allow the full load to be applied at any angle of inclination. Compact design allows much higher load capacity than the comparable ‘cup & ball’ hemispherical chamber design used in both Omnitrack medium duty and light duty ranges.

T & B bars incorporate Heavy Duty spring-loaded ball units for accurate positioning & effortless conveying of tools & dies on press & machine beds. Once positioned, clamp the tool & the springs allow the ball units to retract beneath the bed. Unclamp & the ball units will raise the tool above the bed ready to convey again. T-Bars feature an integral locking mechanism. B-Bars are locked using recessed M8 cap screw (requires drilling & tapping of the bed). Custom sizes available.

Omnitrack Flexible Conveyors – Versatile & mobile conveyor modules. Compact conveyors extend up to 3.6 times their retracted length & sturdy castors are then locked once positioned.
