UV-FAN Air Purifier is an air purification device of a stylish structure in extruded aluminium, coated by epoxy powder finish and lacquered aluminium. A quiet internal fan draws air from the positioned room zone into the germicidal box for disinfection and purification from microbes and chemical contaminants. The internal germicidal box contains two UV-C lamps housed in a mirror-polished aluminium airflow chamber in which to improve the germicidal power of the lamps by reflection. Air is sanitized by a labyrinth effect, passing across the 254nm UV-C lamps. Clean air is then introduced back into the environment, without contaminants. CPV is an application which generates electricity from sunlight. The key difference between this technology and conventional photovoltaics (solar panels) is the inclusion of optical components. Utilising optical components which focuses the sunlight onto solar cells increases the efficiency of the electricity generation. Knight Optical provides fresnel lenses which consist of a flat surface with interspace concentric steps whereby each step corresponds to the surface of a conventional lenses. PMMA Acrylic is a preferred material for CPV systems as it is very lightweight when used in a large size. Random cut is usually cut along a plane that is 60° off-axis as the growth in this direction is the easiest to grow. Random cut is anything that is not the C-Cut angle. Sapphire can fluoresce depending upon the concentration of other minerals within the lattice, for example Iron (Fe) or Chromium (Cr). Clear Sapphire might fluoresce orange when illuminated by UV light if impurities are in the crystal. Knight Optical can offer UV Fused Silica Lenses for Flame Detection Applications. UV Fused Silica can be used in Flame Detection Applications, due to its high transmission into the NIR range (approximately <92% avg 400-2000nm) meaning that a clear distinction can be made between different wavelengths of light. UV FS also has a very low coefficient of thermal expansion 0.55x10-6K-1 at 300K) compared to N-BK7 (7.1x10-6K-1), meaning that it can still provide optical performance under high temperature. UV FS also has a high melting point compared to N-BK7, providing further protection for your application in high temperature environments. UV FS is comparable to N-BK7 or other similar optical glasses in its performance, having a very similar average transmission over the VIS range up to approximately 2000nm and a slightly lower refractive index. DELO-KATIOBOND light activated adhesives can be used in opaque applications, as once the adhesive has been initiated via visible light, curing starts due to the decomposition of the photo-initiator and continues to completion.
