Our stainless steel banding and boxed banding is available in the following sizes in AISI 304/1.4301 and AISI 316/1.4401 with bright smooth finish BA or matt smooth finish 2B finish are available from stock. Other widths and thicknesses up to 50mm (2") are available upon request. Aluminium and Alu/Zinc banding are also available subject to size of order and availability. Certificates of conformity, showing the exact chemical composition of the material are supplied with each delivery. Coils are supplied banded on pallets and shrink wrapped. Maximum pallet weight 1500kg. Our standard boxed banding sizes are available in grades 304 & 316. Banding can be supplied with sheared, handsafe or round edge.

Customers who use narrow width strip can increase productivity with oscillated wound coils as large as 1000kgs. The benefit of this larger wound coil is that the coil needs to be changed less frequently and therefore reduces downtime. Common uses for oscillated wound is the building industry and automotive sector, this process has been proven to increase machine output by 40% on pressing lines. Our oscillating wound is available in thicknesses 0.40-3.00mm with a width to 3.00-80mm. With a coil weight of 100kgs or coil OD 1,000,00mm and pack width optional 200/350mm. Our stainless steel oscillating wound is WAK edge dressed on wooden spools. The inside diameter is 406, 508 flash butt welding method with reannealing. The welding method is 90 degree TIG-skew tolling, seam smoothened. Marking is in accordance to client specification.

Precision strip used in the manufacture of spiral wound gaskets and other processes such as pressings. Our Bobbin wound material is extensively used in the gasket sealing industry. Bobbins can be up to 15kgs and speed up the change overs and reduce scrap loss. Our spiral wound gasket production facilitates thicknesses of 0.20mm, 0.18mm, 015mm and 0.10mm. Widths come as standard in 5.33mm, 5.0mm, 4,75mm with a minimum width of 2.50mm. The minimum order for our bobbin wound products is 20k depending on the grade ordered. All of our spiral wound gaskets can be supplied on plastic ribbon or pancake coils. Our inner ring production sizes come in 3.00mm, 4.00mm and 5.00mm thicknesses and widths of 6.50mm wide to 100mm wide. Our minimum orders for inner ring production is 50kg depending on the grade. Material can be supplied as coil or in lengths of a maximum 3 metre.

UKF Group stocks one of the largest ranges of perforated exhaust tube in Europe. Our Perforated Exhaust Tube finds application with automotive exhausts, and filtration systems. We offer standard 6011 pattern in Stainless Steel Grade 304 (1.4301) and Grade 409 (1.4512), from stock, in lengths up to 6 metres. Custom lengths and alternative patterns are available upon request.

As an All-In-One Solution, our laser can do more than just cut material. The laser can implement multiple functions in a single operation, including: cutting, drilling, notching and etching. What once would have taken hours and multiple operations and personnel, now only takes seconds with the help of our friendly Laser Operators, Adrian and Martin. Opposed to traditional cutting methods, laser machines do not require contact upon cutting, -minimising contamination and unwanted marking to the material. When paired with the internal suction probe (more commonly known as “the spoon”), we can produce a final product to a higher standard of finish both in terms of cleanliness and aesthetically.

We offer a comprehensive range of super mirror marine polished stainless steel tube in grade 316 (1.4401). The size range covers tubes from ½” (12.70mm) – 2.1/2” (63.50mm) with a 16 gauge (1.6mm) wall thickness. Suitable for marine environments and high-chloride exposure.

We hold a complete range of stainless steel handrail tube in all standard diameters. By maintaining strong relationships with our suppliers, we can source additional components or fittings upon request. These components allow for quick installation of even the most complex and attractive stainless steel railings and balustrade systems. >Material is available in both grades 304 (1.4301) and 316 (1.4401), and comes either in un-polished, satin polished or mirror polished finish.

As the sole UK Agent for Marcegaglia's Automotive Division, our customers have exclusive access to one of the UK's most comprehensive ranges of stainless steel automotive tube. We supply a wide range of welded exhaust tube in standard lengths of up to 6 metres, with option for custom lengths available. Grades 304 (1.4301) and 409 (1.4512) are the most standard grades, however other grades such as 439 (1.4510) and 441 (1.4509) are also available upon request. Products are generally kept in the As Welded condition however we also hold a complete range of polished material. For more difficult tube manipulations, a range of fully annealed material is also available from stock.

To complement our additional services, we offer a complete in-house polishing service. Our purpose built multi-head polishing machine allows us to provide the complete range of finishes, from a dull 180 grit to a super mirror 600 grit. This lets you choose the exact finish you desire every time without the worry of stock availability. The polishing service can accommodate any length of tube or round bar up to 6 metres in length.

Traditionally, perforated tube is manufactured through a lengthy operation starting with flat strip metal that goes through four stages of processing before completion. This is a time-consuming and costly procedure with chances for complications throughout the process. We’ve innovated the way perforated tube is processed by perforating pre-formed tube in one operation. This saves you time, money and hassle as it eliminates the long process and any production issues that can occur, while providing a visually enhanced product. Our five perforating machines can perforate stainless steel, titanium and aluminium tubes from 38mm to 101.60mm⌀, in lengths up to 750mm long. The specialist tool design allows tube perforation in various patterns that can be tailored to produce bespoke and unique patterns and shapes.

We provide our customers with the opportunity to get their materials processed before they even leave the warehouse – providing a leaner and more cost-effective manufacturing process. With large quantities of material stored on site, you’ll benefit from shorter lead times and better material availability compared to third party subcontractors. Thanks to recent investments, our manipulation service operates across two sites, equipped with several single and multi-stack benders and end-forming machines. Through these sites, we provide CNC and Press tube bending, end-forming and cruxiforming - providing the Group the capability to process and deliver orders faster than ever before. Our manipulation services are currently being employed within the automotive, domestic appliance and filtration industries.

Our specialist-built cutting shop is fully equipped to suit your needs. In addition to our laser cutting facilities, we have a bank of fully automatic and semi-automatic cutting machines ready to process materials up to 3,000mm in length. With the capability to hold tight tolerances (+/- 0.20mm) on diameters ranging from 6mm - 153mm, our cutting services are the cost-effective option for high volume repetitive cut orders. Whether you choose the built-in deburring and washing options or the stand alone alternatives available alongside the cutting service, your components will be completed to a high standard of finish.

Stainless steel end post to carry 10.0mm glass panels. Can be supplied in indoor, outdoor and coastal grade. Standard posts are 1100mm high but can be made to any height and suit any glass thickness. Satin finish as standard but can be mirror polished

Alloy 17-4 PH is a chromium-copper precipitation hardening martensitic stainless steel with Cu and Nb/Cb additions. 17-4PH Stainless Steel combines high strength, hardness (up to 572°F / 300°C), and moderate corrosion resistance. Alloy 17-4 PH withstands corrosive attacks better than any of the standard hardenable stainless steels and is comparable to Alloy 304 in most media. The alloy is subject to crevice or pitting attack if exposed to stagnant seawater for any length of time, although it is corrosion resistant in some chemical, petroleum, paper, dairy and food processing industries(equivalent to 304L grade). Mechanical properties can be improved (high strength and superior corrosion resistance) when precipitation hardened from Condition A to one of the Condition H tempers. We supply 17-4 PH in the H1150D condition. This is double aged at a temperature between 1140° F and 1160° F for 3.75 hours to 4.
