The waveguide dehydrator is a crucial element of any communications waveguide system, be it a microwave, radar, TV satellite terrestrial or antenna system. This high-capacity waveguide dehydrator for location in both ETSI and standard 19” racks, has reversible mounting brackets allowing the same unit to fit within either enclosure without any further need for mounting brackets or plates. Whether you choose the 230vAC or the 48vDC variant, the 12446 boasts an impressive output of over 220 litres per hour at an excellent dewpoint of -40ºC. The unit comes with 2 fixed output pressure options of either 15 or 40 mbar, and 6 off ¼” pneumatic outlets as standard. Despite its physical dimensions, the 12446 houses a high capacity, high pressure air storage vessel which allows the unit to remain inactive for extended periods of time, keeping maintenance requirements to an absolute minimum. The Rotary Selector Valve or RSV, is a small bore multiport, multibank rotary poppet system suitable at pressures ranging –1 +10 Bar, Fluid Temperature 85°C (185°F) . It is a relatively simple & therefore extremely reliable unit, based on a modular design & as such configurable for a multitude of applications. It is custom built from stock parts. The body is manufactured in brass or stainless steel, both having stainless spindles & they can have stems and seals in differing materials to suit the media being used. Each bank of the valve is pneumatically independent but linked by a common central spindle, enabling separate air paths to be controlled concurrently; each output is effectively a valve. The RSV (once also known as the PIV or Pneumatic Interlok Valve) can incorporate an integral electrical rotary switch which allows fluid & electrical circuits to be controlled simultaneously or can be used simply to provide positional indication remotely at the control centre.

Water Safety Plan [WSP], defined in BS8680 as… ‘strategic plan which defines & documents the arrangements that are required for the safe use & management of all water systems together with all associated systems & equipment within each building or estate to prevent harm arising from all forms of exposure’. Depending on the type & size of your organisation the scope & content of the WSP will vary. The initial steps in the development of a WSP is understanding the water related risks, the need to have identified and assessed those water related risks within a building or across an entire estate. This baseline of the water risks allows the development of the associated processes to be defined, outlining applicable arrangements to ensure the safe use of, and management of the water systems and associated equipment initially identified.

These water inlet solenoid valves from RPE are suitable for household appliances (such as washing machines and dishwashers) applications and other equipment requiring a water supply cut-off valve. The R Series includes many different configurations: versions with one, two, three or four outlets arranged at 180º or 90º to the inlet are available. The standard inlet connection is 3/4"BSP male, outlet connection option including hosetail, threaded and John Guest push-fit. A mounting bracket is standard with most versions. The VQuad can be mast mounted, radome protected, and elevated up to seven meters or mounted permanently onto any platform. VQuad is based on the field proven and award winning QuadTac, however, there is no requirement for the dipole arms to close which allows for larger dipole elements to be used.
