Germanium typically operates in the 2µm to 14µm spectral range; that covers the LWIR (8-12μm) and MWIR (3-5μm) thermal imaging wavelength range. Our Germanium windows are available from stock, custom size and shape with Anti-Reflection coatings on one or both sides, and/or with Hard Carbon Diamond coatings. A dome is essentially a window that has two parallel curves faces.
