Why is PUR edge banding better? Without doubt, the PUR adhesives inherent, and superior bonding strength (when compared to EVA Glue) is completely unaffected by high temperature and provides a water tight, anti bacterial, bonded edge, that will not delaminate under any conditions. PUR glued, edge banded, panels provide a prolonged life to, otherwise susceptible, panels in extreme and demanding applications such as medical and hospital environments and, in particular, toilet cubicle panelling applications.
