The Metal Guard ® VCI film construction is a superior, multi faceted volatile corrosion inhibitor for the protection of ferrous and non- ferrous metals in the supply chain. A mixture of extruded LDPE low density polyethylene and a ‘best in class’ VCI formula give goods superior protection. Our VCI Paper Sheets and rolls have been designed to protect metals being shipped and stored over long periods. The Master Shield ® Kraft paper construction is a great packaging for protecting Ferrous Metals against the harms that corrosion causes in the supply chain.

Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor Paper products from Cortec are unique in their ability to provide ‘best in class’ corrosion protection for a wide variety of metals. VPCI 149 has been specifically formulated to give enhanced protection to sensitive metals such as copper, aluminium and cast iron. VPCI 149® has a diverse range of applications and can be used as an effective solution for a variety of packaging needs. The paper itself has a unique feel, as it uses a neutral & natural kraft paper the coating is such that whilst the paper has a ‘soft’ feel it wraps very easily around metal parts. This makes VPCI 149 extremely easy to use. Furthermore, as this construction does not use saturated paper like cheaper alternatives it maintains a remarkably high tear resistance. This specification utilizes the renowned vapour phase corrosion inhibitor technology that results in a far superior level of protection to legacy VCI Paper alternatives.

Available in different sizes, types and suitable for many purposes, these cups come with single, double or rippled layers of insulation – each offering a specific level of heat protection. Product Features: • Desk top electronic instrument enclosure, ideally suited for mounting printed circuit boards. • Moulded from flame retardant ABS plastic (material carries a UL flammability rating of 94V-0). • Interior of each enclosure half is specially masked and sprayed with an RFI/EMI copper conductive coating. • Coating manufacturer specifies an attenuation of more than 75 db from 1 Mhz. to 1 Ghz. • Designed to meet IP54. • Two sets of vertical 1.5mm (0.062") P.C. board guides are moulded into case halves front and rear. • Front and rear panels are 1.6mm (0.064") brushed aluminium with protective paper on one side. • Cases halves are secured with M3 x 0.5" x 10mm (0.39") Philips machine screws threaded into tapped integral brass bushings. Perfect for applications with repetitive assembly and disassembly are required. • Integral horizontally P.C. card mounts on Eurocard centers.
