The BGP base can be used with any BGP series piston, allowing testing from 15 mbar to 120 bar. The base requires a supply of gas slightly above test pressure, and has precision inlet / outlet valves and a screwpress to enable easy regulation and adjustment of pressure. The BGP1 has a 1/2in2 high chrome steel piston/cylinder unit. The design has been proven over many years to provide excellent sensitivity and stability. Low start pressure is achieved through use of a hollow piston and aluminium head. NOTE: Model BGP1 can be used on vacuum with a model 24 adaptor. All certificates issued for Budenberg Dead-weight Testers are fully traceable to national standards via equipment with UKAS calibration certificates.

The BGH series base can be used with any of the BGH series pistons to give ranges 1-120 bar with a BGH120, 2-300 bar with a BGH300, 1-700 bar with a BGH700 and 1-1200 bar with a BGH1200 . All units are top loading for ease of use and weight sets are fully interchangeable. This means that weight sets in alternative pressures are readily available and customers with more than one %*+ series tester can interchange weight sets between testers of the same range. The base features a dual area screwpress which allows low-pressure priming and high-pressure control. The BGH is a robust design, proven over many years usage. The unit has a 1/16in2 fully hardened and stabilised tool steel piston. This unit gives extremely good sensitivity for high accuracy calibration, yet is tough enough for regular use in a workshop environment.

Features: There are 2 rows of 6 LED's corresponding to each ofthe possible connector pins and one for the screen (or ground) connection. Aseach pin is activated, the LED's indicate all connections associated with thatpin, so that short, open and crossed circuits can be easily found. The LED'salso show the possibility of high resistance or leakage connections. If the MEMORY LED is on, then AudioJoG Pro 5 automaticallyscans all the connections and compares against information held with just onepress of the test button. MEMORY works in singleand double ended test modes. INTERMITTENT fault detection uses the memory tocontinuously test the cable until a fault is found.

The cable test provides a detailed failure description and an estimation of the distance between failure and test location.

DIGITAL ADVANTAGE Digital technology has the advantage of delivering extended test range, ultimate stability and high power in a compact housing. Each of the four channels can be programmed to 10A charge and discharge. Power handling is 100W per channel on charge and 80W on discharge, or 400W on charge and 320W on discharge on all four channels. The Cadex C8000 is more than a programmable power supply and load bank; the instrument provides intelligence to assist in battery testing. Protected charge and discharge algorithms with redundant safety features identify a faulty battery and safely terminate the service if so needed. The system can be overridden for destructive tests.
