The weaving of Tie Fabrics is still the largest part of our business and one which we have invested heavily in over the last 20 years. Each week, we weave fabric for more than 30,000 ties, which are split over both jacquard and dobby looms. Our Sewing Facility in Macclesfield converts both our own fabric into finished garments and fabric supplied from elsewhere. Our products include Ties, Clip on Ties, Cravats, Waistcoats, Scrunchies and Bow-Ties (both pre-tied and self tie), although our highly skilled team can adapt to most requests. Our laminated scrims offer the option of delivering added benefits to the main reinforcement properties of our products. Some attributes to be considered are surface smoothness, dimensional stability, permeability, conductivity, UV protection, and in some cases, fire retardant improvement. DHJ Weisters Ltd diversified into the weaving of Contract Furnishing Fabrics in 2003 and now manufactures up to 5000 metres (140cms/55" wide) per week. We work closely with customers either to develop patterns that are used as part of stock collections or bespoke designs for one off projects.We also design patterns in house using our own inspiration and designs, these are available and can be viewed in our “Open Designs” section. These are available for confinement by negotiation. We have an extensive colour and count range in warps and wefts and a flexible range of jacquard sizes, including a 70cms repeat.
