Bothnia Wood’s range of redwood and whitewood sawn products comprises pine and spruce grown slowly in the soil of northern Sweden – a renewable material with extremely high strength in relation to its weight. Our emphasis on service ensures that you the customer receive a complete range of high-quality products with reliable deliveries, short lead times, custom logistics and modern IT solutions. The sawn whitewood and redwood products are available in a wide choice of lengths and dimensions. In addition to our regular range, we are also able to supply custom dimensions. Spruce and pine timber, used for construction purposes is often sawn from ‘centrepieces’ and ‘sideboards’. The centrepieces are cut from the middle of the trunk and the sideboards from the outside of the trunk. ‘Centre-free’ parts are centrepiece parts without heartwood or the soft inner core of the trunk portion, making them stronger and more stable. Rough sawn wood is almost always kiln dried.

WOODSORBA panels are installation friendly. They have one long edge, which has a machined tongue, and the other long edge has a machined groove. Rotafix Structural Adhesive (RSA) is a high performance unfilled thixotropic slow setting structural epoxy adhesive which is used in timber engineering. The slow setting nature of the epoxy adhesive allows the manipulation of timber joints for a period of time. This is particularly useful for flooring boards, roofing sheets or complex joints. Rotafix Engineering Adhesive is a high strength structural epoxy adhesive, part of the Resiwood product range. The 2-part unfilled epoxy adhesive has a degree of flex which makes it well suited to wood engineering and timber applications. The slow setting nature of Rotafix Engineering Adhesive lends itself to working on site where time is needed to create and move joints prior to finalising the assembly.
