Cortec VpCI® 329 and Cortec VpCI® 329 D are corrosion inhibitor oils from Cortec Corporation, a leader in corrosion prevention. Both leverage VpCI® technology, creating a protective molecular layer on metals.However, they have distinct applications. Cortec VpCI® 329 is versatile, shielding ferrous and non-ferrous metals indoors and outdoors.It's easy to apply via dipping, spraying, or fogging and offers up to 24 months protection.Being water-based and free of hazardous solvents, it's environmentally friendly. Cortec VpCI® 329 D is specifically designed for outdoor ferrous metal protection. It includes additional inhibitors and water-displacing agents for enhanced resistance to harsh conditions while maintaining the 24-month protection period and compatibility with various metals.

Rotafix Aquachem is a solvent-free coating used a membrane for tanking, waterproofing, gas barrier and as a high-performance floor coating. Rotafix Aquachem is a 2-part liquid epoxy that can be applied as a floor finish. Combining aggregates with the top coat creates a skid resistant surface. Adding flakes to the top coat will give a decorative finish. It has been used extensively in food preparation areas and medical environments as it is easy to clean, resistant to chemical cleaners and resistant to the formation of mould. Rotafix Aquachem can be used as a liquid applied damp proof membrane. The liquid membrane can be applied to prevent moisture ingress both positively and negatively. So if it is applied to the outside of a wall, water will not penetrate, equally if is applied internally then moisture penetrating the substrate will equally not penetrate. The average bond strength of Aquachem is 4N/mm2 , it would require a head of water of 600m to force the Aquachem to break away.
