Due to high intensity light from the laser, mirrors used with a laser application require a high damage threshold, and high reflectivity. Knight Optical can help! Laser mirrors are used to reflect or redirect the laser. This manipulation of the beam means it is great for laser applications where there is limited space, as the beam can be steered multiple times. We manufacture mirrors used in the UV/VIS/NIR and infrared. We provide a number of mirrors from stock with coatings at infrared wavelengths such as: Dielectric (98% NIR) Protected Silver (96% VIS/NIR) Protected Gold (97%@750-FAR IR) These are available to purchase from stock in a wide ranges of sizes from 6.3 mm in diameter to a 300mm x 300mm square and various different thicknesses. Colorimeters measure colour in a substance, for example in water. It defines the measurement of the colour to enable its identification, using the lightwave spectrum. Colorimeters are a form of a spectrophotometer. The use of mirrors in the system, redirect the light beam from the light source to the sample and back to the sensor to enable a reading. Knight Optical provide high quality coated front surface mirrors of varying reflection averages from stock and to custom specifications. Our precision grade N-BK7 windows are often used to seal optical enclosures & act as a protective window for the optical and electrical component behind the window, particularly within CCTV and ANPR systems where there is a risk of damage. N-BK7 provides excellent transmission in the visible and near infrared spectrum which can be enhanced still with our Anti Reflective coatings. Our stock range of ¼ wave N-BK7 or equivalent windows are supplied either uncoated or with the option of an Anti-Reflective coating on both faces with extended BBAR for visible and NIR applications within the 450-900nm wavelength range.
