Monochromatic lights have a low pressure sodium light source that emits monochromatic light in which rays have virtually the same wavelength. This light is a very effective way of viewing fringe patterns on the surface of optical flats (Newton rings) Knight Optical's standard type moonlight has a straight line engraved across the diffused screen enabling the operator to easily compare the straight lines of the component being tested thus identifying how flat the flatness is. Other options of monochromatic lights are available enhanced version and floor standing version. These lights are not supplied with the optical flat as standard however we stock a range of quartz and Zerodur optical flats with a range of flatness’s to meet your application. The 12437 Waveguide Dehydrator, designed for cable pressurisation applications, has proved successful in numerous aerial and waveguide applications, and a low-pressure version has evolved. This unit is the same as its higher-pressure counterpart, but for an output regulator, and gauge which are more accurate within the 0.5 to 3 p.s.i. pressure band. This dehydrator uses an efficient 1/3 HP compressor to fill its large integral receiver to a pressure of up to 65 p.s.i. In addition, to the larger receiver, the unit benefits from built in compressor and receiver gauges. These gauges can help the operator to assess the condition of a unit, and help with fault finding in the event of a failure. Another useful feature of this unit is the humidity detector test facility, which assists in fault analysis alongside the standard remote alarms. In common with all our current units, the 12437 Waveguide Dehydrator is equipped with a thermal/magnetic overload circuit breaker with neon indicator.

With the front row standing on the floor this choir riser configuration will comfortably accommodate 32 adults, either standing or seated on suitable chairs.
