Over time, various factors such as exposure to contaminants, age, incorrect operation, sensor deterioration, a drift in electronics or exposure to corrosive gases, can contribute to dewpoint instruments losing accuracy and reliability. To maintain accuracy and reliability, we advise an annual service and calibration. For instruments used in critical applications or aggressive environments, more frequent service and calibration intervals are recommended. Our Calibration Laboratory Engineers perform routine servicing, commissioning, fault finding, repairs and installation services in accordance with our accredited quality system. Our calibration range of -90 °C to +20 °C dewpoint is traceable to National and International Humidity Standards at the National Physical Laborarory (NPL). Regular and Adhoc Fuel Calibration & Servicing It is recommended to have tanker meters calibrated on a yearly basis to ensure that they continue to give the correct measure. Alpeco is able to offer this service on a ‘when required’ basis, or a tailored yearly service contract is available, which also includes a thorough service to all Alpeco derived equipment on the customer’s installation. Alpeco is then able to seal the equipment for public use. All Alpeco reference meters follow the same stringent guidelines as applied to all Trading Standards instruments to ensure the utmost accuracy.
