DIGITAL ADVANTAGE Digital technology has the advantage of delivering extended test range, ultimate stability and high power in a compact housing. Each of the four channels can be programmed to 10A charge and discharge. Power handling is 100W per channel on charge and 80W on discharge, or 400W on charge and 320W on discharge on all four channels. The Cadex C8000 is more than a programmable power supply and load bank; the instrument provides intelligence to assist in battery testing. Protected charge and discharge algorithms with redundant safety features identify a faulty battery and safely terminate the service if so needed. The system can be overridden for destructive tests. The Cadex C7400ER is the most powerful of the C7000 Series battery analyzers. Six amps per station, service of 36 volt batteries and 170 watts of continuous power satisfies most service requirements.

On the basis of its well proven concept of production line QC Testers, ATEQ has developed a new leak tester designed for the specific requirements of high volume production of plastic parts. This instrument is used for the detection of localized moulding faults, insufficient membrane thickness, perforations, etc. This instrument has also proven to be effective on testing pouch battery cells. The IONIQ is based on discharge current measurement and is able to detect defects up to of 10µm. Battery pouch cells, plastic bottle caps, plastic packaging, plastic coverings The IONIQ measures the current flowing between a patented charged probe and a ground plate placed under the part to be tested. The IONIQ uses the % of the nominal voltage (which reflects the discharge current), measured on the part as PASS/FAIL level. In a PASS situation (fig 1) : No hole, no weak part, the IONIQ measures a high %. The measured voltage and the nominal voltage are virtually equal.

Without a doubt, the B28 is the smallest high-performance leak tester for battery cells and breathable membranes. One of the main advantages is that our B28 module can quickly test the cell’s insulation. To ensure the best measurement conditions, the B28 has the optional capability to control filling and dumping vacuum around the part to test in a specific enclosure.
