This bespoke service offers ideal solutions for customers requiring non-standard containers to be heated as rapidly as possible and efficiently insulated. However big or small the application, our development team based at our UK headquarters can adapt tried and tested designs to produce the best results. A wide standard range is also available from stock to fit 25, 50, 100 or 205 litre drums as well as 1000 litre IBC containers, totes and gas cylinder applications.

These ATEX and IECEx Zone 1, 2, 21 and 22 rated jackets use a completely new and proprietary design. They are constructed with custom elastomer and silicone coated glass cloth materials and high density fibreglass insulation. Safe operating conditions are maintained even in the presence of potentially explosive gases and dusts. No transformers are required as they operate using standard ac supply voltages. InteliHeat Flexiplus jackets are ideal for gentle warming and to avoid winter freezing. For faster heating rates and melting solids at higher temperatures, the Thermosafe Induction Heater is normally recommended, but we can also offer more powerful custom jacketed solutions with digital jacket and wall-mounted controllers. The InteliHeat Flexiplus range is designed for use with plastic, stainless steel or magnetic steel drums.

Many laboratory and industrial processes require a constant flow of gas to be delivered, and this is normally supplied from pressurised cylinders containing gas in liquid phase. If the level of liquid reduces fast, frosting can occur on the surface of the cylinder and flow rates can be adversely affected. Our gentle and insulated heating solutions can prevent this phenomenon and restore stability to the flow rate. This is particularly important when using calibration gases where repeatability is vital. Note that separate over-pressure safety systems should always be in place to meet health and safety requirements. We can design jackets for most cylinder sizes, with our standard “HHG” being a popular size normally available for immediate delivery.
