Our broad range of MDF CNC routing and machining capabilities also includes the design and manufacture of bespoke, grooved MDF, panels. Available in a choice of panel thicknesses, groove widths, and depths, and pitch distance between grooves to suit your exact design requirements. Made from moisture resistant MDF these panels are ideal for painting in the paint, and colour, of your choice and are perfect for decorative feature walls, bar fronts, kitchen island panels and much more. Supplied in their machined finish the grooves will require sanding prior to painting however, we can, supply the panels pre-sanded and/or pre-primed. Not all MDF panel products are made equal, in fact there many varieties of MDF, each having its own specific purpose. Our White Moisture Resistant MDF board is specifically designed for use as a pre-finished board that can be used in areas that are prone to moisture or occasional wetting. This product features all the qualities of standard White Melamine faced board, easy to work with, easy to machine, clean cutting (when cut correctly) and the ability to take an edging. The obvious advantage is that it can be used in environments such as kitchens and bathrooms without the risk of swelling caused by the ingress of moisture. Our smooth grey melamine faced Birch Plywood is actually a Phenolic film (coloured paper infused with a Phenol resin) faced board rather than a Melamine film (coloured paper infused with a Melamine resin) faced board. Phenolic faced Birch Plywood is far more durable and provides a greater scratch resistance, and chemical resistance, when compared to Melamine faced board. Unfortunately, and due to the current situation, we are all experiencing, for better or worse, Chipboard is difficult/impossible (delete as applicable) due to manufacturers choosing, to use their resources, to produce higher value products such as Melamine Faced Chipboard. As soon as things settle down we will be able to provide this product, online, albeit, at a significantly increased price, we guess! In the meantime, we do offer a number of alternative options such as… OSB (also extremely rare, although we do have some stock) MDF Various Plywood Products

Our range of wood effect boards now includes a Cherry Melamine Board cut to size. As with each of our wood effect melamine sheets it is suitbale for a wide range of uses including, but not limited to the following… Commercial desk tops. Home office desks. Shelves. Table top extensions. Wardrobe carcass panels. Wardrobe doors. Our in house capabilities also allows us to provide Cherry Melamine Board Cut to Size & Edged. Our standard edging solution is to use a matching 2mm ABS bonded to the board with an EVA adhesive. Alternatively we can offer 1mm colour matched edging or a contrasting edging in either 1 or 2mm. Another option we can offer is the use of PUR adhesive to bond the edging to the board. PUR adhesive is far stronger that EVA adhesive and also provides resistance against heat and moisture. Using the PUR option is essential when using edged melamine faced boards in kitchen, and especially bathroom, environments.

Delivery within 7-10 working days (subject to quantity and location). Please note, the machining process of these panels may cause the material to bow. Available in 10mm and 19mm Thickness. Product – Finsa Fibracolour Negro The dimensioned drawing shows the profile of the panel when machined with a brand-new cutter. The effect of sharpening on the cutters softens the profile slightly. This is only noticeable when comparing one panel against another that were purchased separately at different times.

Currently only available in 9mm. Other thicknesses available upon request. Please note, the machining process of these panels may cause the material to bow.

The most popular or our MDF decorative wall panels is, without doubt, our range of Fluted MDF panels. Available in three “standard” variations, Large, Standard and Mini, each of which is available in primed, and un-primed options as well as a range of sheets sizes and orientations. If you require a “cut to size” service for your particular project, we can also, due to the way our panels are machined, adjust the pitch of our standard and mini fluted MDF panels to suit the width of our panels so they fit your space perfectly. This will allow you to accommodate fixed panel widths on projects such as decorative kitchen island panelling, or decorative feature walls, without awkward partial flutes or unsightly, irregular finishing on end or corner details. Our fluted MDF panels have been used for feature walls in restaurant, hotel and bar interiors, entrance features for high end apartment developments and many other commercial and domestic applications.

Our moisture resistant Tongue & Groove and moisture resistant, pre primed, “Bead and Butt” effect MDF wall panels are perfect for decorative bathroom wall panelling. These panels are not suitable for shower enclosures however, if painted in a suitable paint (not emulsion) they are perfect for use in bathrooms, kitchens, utilities and other rooms around the home. Our T&G effect wall paneling is supplied in an un-primed MR MDF and is available, in three pitches. 100mm, 150mm and variable. The latter having random 75mm. 100mm and 150mm centres between the grooves. Perfect for bathroom wall panelling.
