Blood Pressure Cuffs (BP Cuffs) form an essential component of a sphygmomanometer, or blood pressure monitoring device. When attached to the patient’s arm, the cuff needs to be easily inflatable to collapse and then release the artery in a controlled manner in order to accurately measure blood pressure. Trelleborg Engineered Coated Fabrics manufactures coated fabric for: • External cuff – hook and loop compatible • Internal bladder – air holding fabric to allow easy inflation We can manufacture in a range of colors and widths to help differentiate your product range; as well as allowing different size cuffs for varying patient requirements.

A range of polyurethane coated fabrics for use in the manufacture of support surface air cells and bladders. Trelleborg Engineered Coated Fabrics manufactures a variety of polyurethane coated fabrics, polyurethane coated scrims and polyurethane films at a range of thicknesses that can be slit to width as required. Alongside traditional coated fabrics, the range includes fully transparent or pigmented polyurethane which can be reinforced with ripstop nylon scrims or textile backings. This manufacturing process provides the strength and durability required for repeated inflation and deflation cycles in a load-bearing application. Coatings are pin-hole free; essential in airholding applications for medical products. Applications include: • Air bladders • Air cells for support surfaces • Inflatable cushions
