If you are planning on using an MDF for outdoor use it absolutely has to be MEDITE Tricoya Extreme MDF. MEDITE Tricoya MDF is guaranteed for above ground use for 50 years and below ground use for 25 years. In addition, and conveniently, Tricoya panels share the same machining, cutting and painting characteristics as regular MDF. Its unique qualities make it ideal for outdoor DIY projects such as children’s wooden playhouses, bespoke fence panels, wooden planters and other projects in and around the garden. Once cut to size, Tricoya sheets can easily be fixed together using waterproof, outdoor grade, wood adhesive and corrosion resistant screws. Painting Tricoya MDF, with the correct choice of paint (we would recommend the Dulux quick dry Weathershield, or their ultimate Opaque) will provide a longer, more durable finish.

Not all MDF panel products are made equal, in fact there many varieties of MDF, each having its own specific purpose. Our White Moisture Resistant MDF board is specifically designed for use as a pre-finished board that can be used in areas that are prone to moisture or occasional wetting. Unfortunately, and due to the current situation, we are all experiencing, for better or worse, Chipboard is difficult/impossible (delete as applicable) due to manufacturers choosing, to use their resources, to produce higher value products such as Melamine Faced Chipboard. If you are looking for an inexpensive Shaker Wall Panelling solution, look no further. Our Low Cost Wall Panelling Packs provide a cost effective way to add beautiful, traditional style, wall panelling to your bedroom or other rooms around your home. Suitable for DIY’ers with basic skill levels, and very popular with contractors, our multi packs are available in a choice of thicknesses (6mm, 9mm or 12mm), a choice of widths (50mm, 75mm or 100mm) and choice of 1220mm, 2440mm or 2950mm long, strips. Despite the prefix “low cost”, we only use the highest quality Standard MDF as this ensures the minimum amount of sanding between coats. This, in turn, will you to achieve the best possible finish with the minimum amount of effort (honestly, this does make a difference).

Our Large Fluted MDF panelling is available in a maximum thickness of 22mm and can be supplied in either a primed or un-primed finish. The Fluted range is also available in other variations including standard and mini, each of which can be “cut to size” to suit your particular project.

Product – Finsa Fibracolour Negro The dimensioned drawing shows the profile of the panel when machined with a brand-new cutter. The effect of sharpening on the cutters softens the profile slightly. This is only noticeable when comparing one panel against another that were purchased separately at different times.

Currently only available in 9mm. Other thicknesses available upon request. Please note, the machining process of these panels may cause the material to bow.

The most popular or our MDF decorative wall panels is, without doubt, our range of Fluted MDF panels. Available in three “standard” variations, Large, Standard and Mini, each of which is available in primed, and un-primed options as well as a range of sheets sizes and orientations. If you require a “cut to size” service for your particular project, we can also, due to the way our panels are machined, adjust the pitch of our standard and mini fluted MDF panels to suit the width of our panels so they fit your space perfectly. This will allow you to accommodate fixed panel widths on projects such as decorative kitchen island panelling, or decorative feature walls, without awkward partial flutes or unsightly, irregular finishing on end or corner details. Our fluted MDF panels have been used for feature walls in restaurant, hotel and bar interiors, entrance features for high end apartment developments and many other commercial and domestic applications.
