The TankSponge Eco absorbs water that sits at the bottom of an oil storage tank. The weight in the tank sponge helps the cage sink to the bottom of the tank where the water collects. There is a super absorbent polymer within the insert to absorb the water. The super absorbent polymer doesn’t soak up any fuel, only the water. There is a 3 metre string attached to the insert, so it can be removed and replaced with ease. There is a cage around the insert to show you when it’s full and needs replacing. Benefits The tank sponge reduces the risk of water damage in an oil tank that can get into a boiler system/range cooker, machine tanks or generators. Having a weight in the sponge will ensure that the sponge lays flat at the bottom of the tank where the water is.

Product Features: • Designed to house electronics for equipment interfacing where shelf or wall mounting is required. • Consists if an aluminium "U" shaped extrusion body and a slide-in flat aluminium bottom plate. • Slide-in plate perfect for easy mounting of components. • Steel foot "L" brackets are attached to each end. "L" brackets are punched with 0.31" (7.9mm) diameter keyholes for easy mounting of enclosure. • Rugged body constructed from extruded aluminium with a minimum thickness of .06" (1.5mm). • Available in either clear or black anodised finish, the bottom slide-in plate is finished to match. • The two end "L" brackets are matched to the enclosure. • Includes all assembly hardware. • Note: Recommended screw torque is 5 lbf/in.
