Proguard Fire Retardant Premium Carpet Protection Film is perfect for protecting carpets from spillages and debris during building, painting, DIY projects, house moves, parties and other events to help reduce clean up time. The adhesive backing adheres to most carpets and carpet tiles and ensures that the film stays securely in place, making it safer to use than traditional dust sheets and polythene. After use, it can be peeled away without leaving any residue. The rolls are forward wound meaning the adhesive side is on the inside which makes the rolls perfect for application with our Proguard Film Applicator or by hand. As the adhesive is on the inside it is not exposed to dirt. This carpet film has the added benefit of being fire resistant and anti-slip due to its embossed finish. Fire Retardant Correx® Protection Board is manufactured from strong corrugated polypropylene to provide long lasting protection for windows, doors, stairs, walls and floors. Lightweight and extremely strong, the plastic sheets are tear, puncture and impact resistant. They can be cut, curved and creased to fit any surface offering complete surface protection for a variety of applications during refurbishment, building and construction projects. Fire resistant Protection Board is similar to twin wall plastic sheeting, Antinox, Proplex and corex board and is ideal for the same uses – ie. Protection for floors and other surfaces. Fire resistant, Low Smoke Toxicity EPDM from J-Flex is supplied, tested & fully certified to EN45545-2, and has been approved to the former National Standards BS 6853, DIN5510 & NF F 16-101 + other Major Standards including LUL S1085 Specifications + BS 476 + UL94 V(0) & NFPA 130 ( U.S. National Fire Protection Association). In addition it has been independently tested & certified to EN 13501-1 Fire Classification of construction products & building elements. EPDM, Silicone, Natural Rubber, Neoprene Sponge & Vamac® Ethylene Acrylic Elastomer materials from J-Flex have been independently tested & certified against some or all of the above norms. These materials all have excellent environmental resistance withstanding ozone, u.v., rain & frost – meaning outdoor applications such as lighting systems and enclosures are kept water and dust-tight. Our materials are also resistant to corrosion, moisture, salt & light fuels.
