A broad variety of gas transmission cells are : Gas Cells analysis of gas & vapour phase components in IR optical spectroscopy. These range from short path length gas cells for percent level concentration measurement, to long path length gas cells for part-per-billion concentrations. Options include fixed and variable path length gas cells, as well as ambient temperature and heated gas cells. The windows that can be used with the gas cell include NaCl, KBr, CaF2, BaF2, or ZnSe infrared transmission windows, which are mounted in an optical spectrometer. Germanium wafers are a semiconductor material & therefore are a smart choice for microelectronics. Due to its unique electric properties, it is widely used for sensors, solar cells and infrared optical applications. The wafers are also great for microelectronics as the space is limited and being available in 500μm or less it makes it perfect to achieve the high quality results required. It’s thermal conductivity makes it a good alternative to silicon. Our stock wafers are produced as thin as 500μm and provide exceptional surface quality. However, we can manufacture to a fully customised specification with a wafer thickness as little as 10 μm. This instrument is used for the detection of localized moulding faults, insufficient membrane thickness, perforations, etc. This instrument has also proven to be effective on testing pouch battery cells. The IONIQ is based on discharge current measurement and is able to detect defects up to of 10µm. Battery pouch cells, plastic bottle caps, plastic packaging, plastic coveringsThe IONIQ measures the current flowing between a patented charged probe and a ground plate placed under the part to be tested. The IONIQ uses the % of the nominal voltage (which reflects the discharge current), measured on the part as PASS/FAIL level.
