Composite manhole covers are an alternative to the traditional cast manhole cover solution. Composite manhole covers are a product made of molded and reinforced polymer to cover manholes. The reinforced and molded polymer is heavy duty and capable of withstanding high traffic reducing injuries to a relatively lower percentage. Strength Classes: A15, B 125, C250 and D400 are composite covers. composite covers can be a third of the weight of a Ductile Iron  cover and up to 80% lighter than a steel and concrete cover.
