NEDEX produces polysulfide based sealants named KU-83, PS-018, PS-002 and ARCOL. NEDEX polysulfide sealant is produced to be used in insulated glasses.It has very low permeability water and gas. It has very advanced chemical properties. Polysulfide sealants are recommended to be mixed with a volumetric ratio of 10:1 for A and B components. NEDEX polysulfide based outer sealants KU-83 and PS-018 are for Insulating Glass Units with specifications according to EN 1279:2018.

NEDEX secondary sealant MELTEX hotmelt butyl (hot melt sealant) is a 100% solids, single-component sealant designed for the sealed insulating glass industry. It is formulated from butyl rubber, synthetic polymers and elastomers to give outstanding adhesion to glass and aluminum when fabricated manually or reactivated in semi- automatic equipment. The product is resistant to degradation from ultraviolet light, temperature extremes and water immersion. MELTEX hotmelt butyl is is compatible with inner sealants of NEDEX such as KU-83B and PIB-996. They can be used together, there will be no chemical reactions. Before using MELTEX together with other inner sealants chemical compatibility tests should be done. MELTEX is a secondary sealant for Insulating Glass Unit with specifications according to EN 1279.

Butyl is a solvent free, one component sealant which is used as primary sealant for manufacturing insulating glass units. It has a very low water permeability, good adhesion to glass, aluminium and steel and has a good ageing resistance.

Thiokol is a special sealing compound for manufacturing insulating glass units. It is a 2 component sealing material which has excellent adhesion to clean surfaces such as glass, aluminium or steel. The mixture made from 1 part B component and 10 part of A component applied all arround the insulating glass unit will stop permeability of water and keep the Windows safe for long years.

NEDEX is producing polyisobutylen based hotmelt secondary sealant MELTEX for insulated glass industry in Istanbul/Turkey. It is specially designed to reach very low gas and moisture penetration rates. Just as butyl sealant, hotmelt secondary sealant is one component sealant for IG units. NEDEX hotmelt sealants have very good physical and chemical properties, is easy to process, and ensures optimal resistance to low and high temperatures. It has good properties in terms of resistance and adhesion. Gas leakage rate is optimized with NEDEX hotmelt. NEDEX hotmelt sealant is completely suitable for IG units with good energy efficiency.

The rheological properties of the product make it suitable for manual and robot processing. ARCOL adheres to glass, aluminium, galvanized steel and stainless steel without the use of primer. For other products, such as coated glass, glass from which the coating has been removed, treated spacer profiles or profiles made of other materials; relevant trials must be carried out to ensure the product's suitability. The use with polycarbonate or polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) is not recommended. It is produced only for insulated glass manufacturing. NEDEX is producing polyisobutylen based primary sealants, KU-83B and PIB-996 for insulated glass industry in Eskisehir/Turkey and Moers/Germany. NEDEX butyl sealant is especially designed to reach very low gas and moisture penetration rates. Butyl is also known as a solution for internal insulation in insulated glasses. It has one black component and without solvent. It has good adhesions properties to glass and metal. NEDEX butyl can be packed in slugs and cans as 7 kg (standard); 2,5 kg and 1 kg.
