H2 O2 is unstable and decomposes slowly in the presence of a base or a catalyst. Due to its instability, H2 O2 is typically stored with a stabilizer in a weakly acidic solution. H2 O2 is found in biological systems, including the human body. Enzymes that use or degrade H2 O2 are classified as peroxidases.

We have the following 4A Biological Indicator types: 4A Steam Biological Indicator (3h) is specifically designed for the monitoring steam sterilization processes at 121 – 134 °C. The final readout of a processed biological indicator with respect to the indicator type should be made after 3 hours (4ARSBI) or 24h (4ASBI) of incubation at 60+/- 2 °C. 4A Ethylene Oxide Biological Indicator (4AEOBI) is specifically designed for the monitoring of ethylene oxide (EO) sterilization processes.
