ALWA surface tension remover is applied in a thin coat with a brush or a sponge. After approx. 10 min. the solvent is evaporated and ALWA release lacquer can be applied.

ALWA acryl sealer is used to seal porous surfaces, such as wood, gypsum and rigid foams (not suitable for polystyrene foam). The primer dries in the air and forms a strong film. Apply a thin layer of ALWA acryl sealer evenly with a brush. If 3 % hardener powder is added, the curing process can be reduced to approx. 30 min.

ALWA EPT 210 is a laminate and backfilling resin. Laminates can be produced with ALWA EPT 210 in order to manufacture glass fibre plastic parts, gauges, templates, moulds and applications with diverse fillers. ALWA EPT 210 is an epoxy resin that has a low viscosity and a light yellow colour. Under exothermic reaction, it cures in connection with the light yellow hardener H 10 at room temperature. The mixture shows a low viscosity and is particularly appropriate for laminating layers of up to 8 mm. For thicker laminates the application of layers must be interrupted several times in order to avoid too high reaction temperatures in the laminate.

ALWA EPF 10 is a temperature-resistant, steel-filled gelcoat based on epoxy resin. It is used to produce temperature and abrasion resistant surfaces for vacuum, PU foam, thermionic moulds and heating plates, among others.

ALWA POR is porous and has a smooth surface structure. The product is characterized by a high stability, pressure-resistance and a long-term heat resistance of over 190°C. It is especially suitable for moulds with fine and complex structures. The good air permeability leads to a uniform stretching of the foil in the process of thermoforming. With this innovative product the annoying drilling of vacuum holes becomes obsolete and thus no visible markings are left on the thermoformed foil. Larger dimensions can be achieved by screw connections. Longer and wider dimensions by gluing. ALWA POR is easily machinable: Sawing, drilling, grinding, polishing. It also remains porous after polishing. ALWA POR is especially suitable for vacuum thermoforming and vacuum forming and is additionally suitable for - aeration of aquaria, fishponds and sewage treatment plants, - venting of injection moulds and blow moulds, - any proceedings of hot steam or water steam processing, - vacuum clamping

The patented casting resin system ALWA MOULD D consists of two resin components and an aluminium filler. The fast curing of the material allows to produce your own technologically highest quality moulds in just a few hours. As our material is very good castable, compact moulds of any desired volume can be made from our product, such as acrylic baths, boats, etc. (<1 kg – 2500 kg). In comparison to other materials (e.g., glass fibre reinforced plastic), the system is more temperature-resistant, allows castings without air bubbles and does not have to be post-cured. Furthermore, the finished mould is easy machinable (e.g., drilling, milling, grinding, planning, sawing, turning, etc.). ALWA MOULD D moulds can be modified with repair filler, so that a fresh view can be created at an early stage of a new design process and prototypes can be examined at short notice.
