Reporting to the Business Managers, your responsibilities will include the following: You will support the business managers in their roles, in particular, with conducting technical pre-studies in the costing and implementation phase of customer orders In the costing phase: Assist with defining technical options Conduct pre-technical studies For each customer order: Produce 2D and 3D technical plans Negotiate on purchases and manage supplier order tracking Assist with the drafting of manufacturing files Prepare after-sales technical files

With the close collaboration between our development and manufacturing teams, our full control of the value chain and our expertise in the sector, the testing, development, commissioning and technical acceptance phases are carefully planned and incorporated into the project schedule from the design phase.

2D CAD drafting services involve the creation of detailed, two-dimensional technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. As the NW 400 sight glasses required for the vessel were not standard, an exceptional 3.2 inspection needed to be carried out for them. FMS created a suitable testing fixture for this inspection and then successfully carried out a type examination together with the Technical Inspection Association (TÜV).
