The RB223 passive barrier can be used to galvanically isolate active signal circuits (0 to 20 mA) in three applications:Transmission from non-Ex to Ex areas e.g for active adjusters, controllers or indicators, Transmission from Ex to non-Ex areas for connection of active, intrinsically safe circuits to the PLC, Transmission from Ex to non-Ex areas for supply of intrinsically safe transmitters with non-intrinsically safe transmitter power supply.

The flow and energy manager RMC621 calculates standard volume as well as mass and energy flows of natural and technical gases, fluids and steam from flow, pressure, temperature and density. Depending on the medium calculation of the energy values occurs according to international standards (IAPWSIF97, SGERG88), real gas equations (SRK) or specific tables. For differential pressure measurements coefficients for flow compensation are calculated over the complete operating range of the flow sensor.

The process meter monitors and displays the analog measured values. Pumps can be monitored with the digital status inputs. The RIA452 can provide power directly to two-wire sensors connected. Up to eight freely programmable relays monitor the measured value. Other operating modes for the relays include sensor or device malfunction, batch and pump control functions. With HART output, the measuring ranges can be freely adjusted and a density-compensated level measurement can be activated. It is certified for drinking water and offers integrated temperature measurement. Versions for applications in wastewaters and sludges or usage in salt water are also available.

Prowirl C 200 is a product line of carbon steel vortex meters dedicated to the Canadian and American market. The carbon steel sensor offers higher resistance to inter-granular stress corrosion cracking, especially in steam systems for SAGD applications. Prowirl C 200 is only available with cCSAus hazardous area approvals. It is NOT available with CE mark, AD2000 or PED. It is available as compact or remote device version.

The active barrier RN221N supplies e.g. a transmitter with power, if required also in the Ex-area, and then transmits the galvanically isolated signal. With the optionally available HART® monitoring the status of the transmitter is monitored. If an error arises a relay at the RN221N sends an alarm. The relay has to be actively set back. Thus even just briefly occurring errors can be easily located.

The steam calculator EngyCal RS33 is used to record steam mass and energy flow of saturated and superheated steam. The calculation is based on the measured process variables volume flow, temperature and/or pressure.The EngyCal RS33 uses the standard IAPWS IF97 to calculate the mass and energy flow of steam. The density and enthalpy of the steam are calculated from the input variables pressure and temperature.

Analog measured values are indicated, evaluated and calculated by the field indicator. With the integrated loop power supply two-wire sensors can be powered.
