The DiaLink connector (patent pending) with its intelligent circular design is setting new standards in fiber-optic cable connections. Its numerous positive characteristics ensure that there are almost no limits to the way in which it can be used – whether its in medical applications, measurement technology or FTTH cabling. The connector allows for simple adaption to a wide range of applications. This is also reflected in our wide range of possible connector configurations. The DiaLink comprises a male and a female connector side. Thanks to the user-friendly design and the push-pull system, the connector can also be used in extremely confined conditions as a device interface or with a high packing density without any problems whatsoever.

The special feature of the new DiaFlex fan-out connection is that the fiber whips can be removed and replaced via a connector system in the divider. This provides greater flexibility in the installation of fiber-optic networks. Cable ends can be replaced flexibly, quickly and without spending a great deal of time or money, and cable installations can be extended as is necessary. Thanks to the feed-in cap, which has a small design, preassembled cables can be inserted directly into pipes or cable ducts. There is therefore no need for expensive splices. The cable and the fiber whips are manufactured in the fiber design and quantity that you requested, inspected and delivered with the corresponding test reports. The Kappa 330 belong to the latest generation of automatic cutting and stripping machines. This model is compelling in the extremely broad range of processing they cover. With the simple, flexible touch controls, even difficult to process materials can be set up quickly and easily. The conversion to new types of cables can be done without tools so it is ultra-fast. This model is designed for processing cables with a cross section of up to 35mm², multicore conductors with an outside diameter of up to 16mm or flat cables with a width of up to 40mm. The customer has his choice of a belt drive or various double-roller drives depending on his requirements. The conductor diameter is automatically detected by a sensor using an inductive measuring approach. This feature greatly shortens setup and changeover and reduces operating errors. Laser and a CCD line optically measure the outside cable diameter and check that the cable is present during processing.

The new line of KW TRIO detectors capture with the highest accuracy, reliability and velocity, even the smallest lumps and neck downs in wires, conductors, optical fibres, cables, tubes and hoses. 3-axis detectors provide more precise detection of short- term faults, because very often, in wire and cable products, the fault covers only a limited angle on the product circumference, e.g. small bumps or blisters.
