Heat exchangers are mainly used in vacuum distillation systems for cooling and condensation in the absorption and rectification processes in chemical plants. Glass heat exchangers enable visual process control during scale-up and production and processing of multiple (acidic) chemical substances. We offer glass spiral type and shell & tube type heat exchangers. These are often operated in combination with a secondary condenser for additional vapor condensation. The glass spiral heat exchangers can be operated in parallel to form large heat exchange areas for higher condensation performances and larger reactors systems in pilot plants. They feature easy cleaning and operation of cooling media at up to 3 bar pressure.

The unit is designed to cut a wide variety of coiled materials to an exact length (up to 1,000 m), such as heat-shrink tubing, pneumatic hoses, cables, plastic bands and much more. The lota 330 does the job carefully and reliably while guaranteeing user-friendly operation. The lota 330 is ready for use after pressing the ‘Power On’ button. The material to be cut is clamped in place according to the closing distance and applied pressure settings of the belt drive. The product length, number of pieces and batch size can be set via the touchscreen. The desired end product can be verified using the sample function, and the machine can then be started. Five buttons serving as hard keys for the most common operations, along with the touch display, enable simple handling and quick changeover for a wide range of materials without the use of any tools.

In tube and hose extrusion lines, they are indispensable aids for measuring pressure pipelines, waste water and heating tubes, and other types of rubber hoses. MSD devices can also contribute to quality monitoring in cold applications in the steel and metal industry. Additionally, the measuring device can be used for non-ferrous and offshore productions.
