Magtrol’s line of Displacement Transducers provide contactless measurement of absolute piston position in hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders and other applications. Their robust construction, large insensitivity to shocks and very long life (due to no moving parts and therefore no wear of components) make them both cost effective and very reliable. Magtrol transducers offer a wide range of operational temperatures and admissible pressure resistance for even the most demanding applications. The transducer provides a direct 4 - 20 mA output signal corresponding to the measuring range, as well as VDC temperature output. As an option Magtrol offers the CST 113 Signal Converter, which allows the complete chain to be calibrated according to the specific needs, either in current or voltage output. The DI Series of displacement transducers were developed principally for OEM applications in the hydraulic industry.

Magtrol offers three types of torque transducers for dynamic torque and speed measurement. All three transducer models employ our unique non-contact differential transformer torque measuring technology. This measuring technology offers many benefits most notably that no electronic components rotate during operation. Each model has an integrated conditioning electronic module providing a 0 to ±10 VDC torque output and an open collector speed output. Magtrol’s Torque Transducers are very reliable, providing high overload protection, excellent long-term stability and high noise immunity.

UMAC WALLMASTER systems from ZUMBACH allow in-line measurements, data acquisition and control during the extrusion of a wide range of products, like tubing, pipe, hoses and cables. Cutting edge digital technology (DSP) opens up measuring solutions for each process and product: • Ultra thin walls • Smallest and largest diameters • Multi-layer products • Cable isolations and jackets Special products requiring an off-line QC measurement can now be measured in-line and relevant parameters monitored continuously. The diameter can also be measured in a combination with the ultrasonic measurement with certain transducer holder. In addition, UMAC WALLMASTER systems provide for real-time QC data, process monitoring, trending, SPC data, statistical charts etc.
