MSD Mega Speed Dynamometer is the latest Magtrol innovation in the very high-speed motor and system testing. Challenged by its numerous customers in the Dental and Surgical field, Magtrol is pushing the limit to a level which was never reached. The braking effect is based on Eddy-Current induced on an aluminum disc directly mounted on the DUT (Device Under Test) shaft. Torque is measured frictionless by a 20 mN·m Reaction Torque Sensor having a resolution of 0.01 mN·m. Due to the thermal effect on the disc, the Mega Speed Dynamometer is not suitable for endurance testing, but can be used to generate a fast curve or perform point to point testing. An infrared sensor monitors the temperature of the disc and stops the test in case of overheating. The disc can be designed and sized according to the motor parameters. The system is contactless therefore alignment is not critical and the inertia is very low (no friction, no residual or drag torque).... more info: www.magtrol.com

The pressure transmitters of the 33X series use digital compensation with a mathematical model to achieve exceptional accuracy of 0,05 %FS – in the temperature range from 10 to 40 °C, this value even corresponds to the total error band. Additional measurements and selections can optionally be used to achieve a precision (and also, if calibrated in an accredited test laboratory, an accuracy) of 0,01 %FS. In addition to the digital RS485 interface, the X-line transmitters have a rangeable, analog current or voltage output.

The pressure transmitters of the 35XHTT series are suitable for use in media temperatures up to 150 °C and can therefore be used in bioreactors and autoclaves that have to be sterilised regularly. They use digital compensation with a mathematical model to achieve an accuracy of 0,15 %FS – in the temperature range from 10 to 40 °C, this value even corresponds to the total error band. The standard model of the 35XHTT series has a G1/2 thread as pressure connection.

The differential pressure transmitters of the PD-39X series measure the pressure difference indirectly using two absolute pressure sensors. The dual-sensor design with numerical differential formation also outputs the line pressure values via the digital RS485 interface and guarantees a high overload resistance. The additional analog current or voltage output is primarily used to output the differential pressure range, which is freely rangeable within the line pressure range.

The series 21DC RFID combines the digital and extremely robust D-line pressure transmitters and data logger electronics with an RFID interface. The built-in battery has a lifespan of 5 to 10 years. The pressure and temperature values are each saved as a pair of numbers in the memory. Instantaneous values and saved data can still be read if the battery is flat, because power is supplied by the reader.

The MPX pressure calibrator is a high-precision calibration instrument for pressures between -0,85 bar and 25 bar (after taring to ambient pressure). The functional calibrator is supplied in a sturdy carrying case and pressure can be quickly generated manually. It is therefore ideal for use in the field. The pressure is measured by the integrated LEX1 manometer and is both shown on the display and output via the RS485 interface. Additional functions such as zero point resetting, peak and trough pressure value indication and leak measurement make it even easier to take measurements.

The miniature pressure transducer M5 takes its name from the fine M5 thread at the sensor head that makes it possible to take measurements in places which are difficult to access and in narrow pipelines. Together with its ability to measure media at temperatures of up to 180 °C in a dynamic range from 0 to 50 kHz, this makes it ideally suited to measurements on engine test benches.
